Artist based in London whose work explores communication through gesture and
expression, focussing on portraiture and the figure in movement.
She has exhibited at Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, ING Discerning Eye, De
Laszlo commendation at Royal Society of Portrait Painters, and won awards with
Royal Institute of Oil Painters and Royal Institute to British Artists. Most recently she
was commissioned to paint Sir David Attenborough for Fauna and Flora
International, to hang at the David Attenborough Building in Cambridge.
She has also had a recent exhibition of drawings made in response to a residency with
choreographer David Dawson and SemperOper Ballet Company at the Dresden
Opera House. She spent time observing and drawing on site before returning to her
studio, using the small sketches as reference to make larger works from memory.
