Katharine is a painter based in London. Since studying Fine Art at the University of the West of England, she has been practising as an artist for 20 years and has shown her work extensively in the UK.
Katharine is predominantly inspired by the landscape and the way in which we inhabit it. Using photography, drawing and aided my memory, her latest body of work examines the ways in which landscapes can communicate a narrative and induce feelings of nostalgia and escapism in the viewer.
