You will receive a tracking number once it has been sent out. We pack all artworks securely and send everything by Royal Mail next day special delivery. We hope you love your artwork, but in the case of wanting a return, you have 14 days to return it to us, in the same condition as it was sent out and you are responsible for posting it back to us by recorded delivery. Chiara Perano is an English-Italian artist and illustrator based in East Sussex. Her work has been featured in House & Gardens ‘Movers & Shakers’, Living Etc and Vogue. In 2020 she created an exclusive limited edition print collection for Liberty London, and her ‘Peace’ painting for the war in Ukraine raised £20,000 for DEC and Choose Love charities.
She creates minimal, playful art, inspired by her Italian heritage, and the beauty in nature, the skies and changing seasons. She mixes darker brush strokes with harmonious colour palettes and often includes typography in her work. Paintings are on paper and canvas, and have a sophisticated and strong feminine edge, with a modern take on ancient Italian artworks and ceramics.

We love mixing new works with existing pieces in your collection and this can be a great and easy way to create a gallery wall. Buying contemporary work to sit alongside traditional pieces you may have inherited is a great way to modernise a space while giving the more traditional pieces a new lease of life. Our advice would be to have a common thread that runs between the pieces to tie them together - this could be similar tones or colours, or a theme that runs through all the works.

This is a favourite topic of ours. We LOVE framing! There are lots of factors to bear in mind before you choose a frame and what you pick will depend heavily on the space you’d like to hang the piece in. If you’re hanging on a neutral wall, we love to go for a colourful frame and using interesting moulding, be it reeded or bobbin, is a great way to add texture to a room. For works on paper with a deckle edge, we like to float or surface mount the paper, so you can see the lovely raw edge, and then finish with a simple wooden frame. If you’re trying to make a space more contemporary or traditional, framing can be a great way to do this. We also love framing traditional works in modern frames and modern pieces in really traditional old antique gilt frames.

Originals refer to one-off artworks, either oil paintings or works on paper, where there is only one of that particular work. A limited edition print is one of an edition of that work. The smaller the edition, the more exclusive, as there aren’t so many out in the world and this is usually reflected in the price. We also have some open edition prints, which means there is an unlimited number of that print, which is a really brilliant and affordable way to start buying art or adding new pieces to your collection.
